Strategy informs enterprise systems implementation

Brief

Once the property manager of a single intermodal precinct, National Intermodal has scaled to become the developer and operator of multiple intermodal terminals across Australia.

A comprehensive suite of new systems and processes are required to deliver this expanded remit.

Challenge

National Intermodal must shift its highly manual operations which rely on small close-knit teams working in complete cohesion, to a business led, process driven, and technology enabled way of working.

A complete review of business systems, practices, and strategy was required, followed by a large-scale implementation program to configure, implement, and integrate the new systems.

Solution

• Conduct stakeholder research to understand processes and functional requirements​

• Develop an IT Strategy and Product Strategy​

• Conduct market scan, produce product recommendations and implementation roadmap​
